Our Story
Boho Glam Extra is a husband and wife team based in the suburbs outside of Des Moines, Iowa. Sarah does the dried floral designs, manages the website and Etsy account and does the majority of the custom service. Gaige creates the wood arches, arbors, backdrops and tables for the rental business as well as helps with drop off's and set ups.
Locally they rent out their wedding decor trailer and arches to the Des Moines metro area. Sarah also creates dried floral arrangements for local weddings as well as shipping them throughout the US.
Gaige and Sarah met the summer of 2018 and were immediately smitten with each other. Very quickly they started their life together in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Looking for a change, in 2020 they decided to move back to Gaige's home state of Iowa to buy their first home and put down roots. They were engaged summer of 2021 and got married in July 2022. Sarah started her dried floral business in 2022 while working fulltime and planning their wedding. In summer of 2023 they launched the rentals side of the business bringing the DIY Decor Trailer and all-in-one wedding concept to the Des Moines metro!

How did Boho Glam Extra get its name?
While planning my own wedding I was asked what my wedding "style" would be and I fumbled around and said "umm.. bohoglamextra- is that a theme?!" And from that my dried flower and wedding rental business got its name. I like working with couples like me that like that boho vibe with a twist! Or dare I say, with a little *extra* -Sarah

Hi I'm Sarah 👋 I am a Midwest girl, currently living outside of Des Moines Iowa. I design, create, package (with care) & ship everything myself out of my home studio. I love coming up with new designs to share with you!
I have always been a creative and I love to design. I worked in the wedding industry many years selling wedding and formal dresses during high school and college. I have a degree in Business and I quit my full time corporate job summer 2022 to do florals full time! Dried floral design is my outlet for creativity and my connection back into the wedding industry & community that I love so much.
Sarah is very kind, timely, & communicative. All items ordered were absolutely stunning & you can see the effort and love she puts into everything!! I would recommend her to anyone looking for some beautiful dried florals for any occasion.
